A DISC Workshop That Helps Your Team Talk to Each Other

Most friction on a team isn’t about the work. It’s about how people communicate. In 2 or 4 hours, your team learns the four DISC communication styles, sees where their own styles clash, and agrees on how to work together.

When Styles Clash, It Looks Like Conflict

One person wants the bottom line. Another wants the details. One thinks out loud; another needs time to think before speaking. None of them is wrong, but each can read the others as rude, slow, pushy or evasive.

Left unnamed, these differences turn into tension, stalled decisions and assumptions about people’s intentions. Once a team can see them, people stop taking them personally and start adjusting.

DISC gives your team a shared, practical language for that. It’s simple enough to remember after one session, and specific enough to change how people run meetings, give feedback and ask for help.

Choose the Format That Fits Your Goal

Both formats include each participant’s DISC Leadership Communication Styles assessment and a PDF workbook, for groups of 8 to 20. The 2-hour session builds understanding. The 4-hour workshop turns that understanding into new habits for an intact team.

2-hour Workshp

A clear, lively briefing on the four DISC styles: how to spot them, what each needs, and why they clash. Participants leave with their own assessment results and a workbook to keep.

4-hour workshop

Everything in the briefing, then your team goes further. We discuss each person’s style, map the team on its DISC Wheel, and agree on how you’ll communicate from here. Then everyone practices adapting their style in real conversations.

A Proven Assessment, Taught by Facilitators Who Make It Stick

The assessment. DISC Dialogues uses the DISC Leadership Communication Styles assessment from Dr. Tony Alessandra, co-author of The Platinum Rule. DISC itself traces back to work by Dr. John Geier at the University of Minnesota in the 1970s (source).

The delivery. Every session is led by Gregg Ward or one of CRL’s certified DISC instructors. Many CRL facilitators also trained in theater and improv at top schools in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. They use live demonstrations, humor and real workplace scenarios, so people recognize the styles in themselves and their colleagues, and remember them.

What Clients and Participants Say

Questions HR Leaders Ask

A DISC workshop teaches the four DISC communication styles: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Conscientiousness. Each participant takes the assessment first, then learns how their style affects others and how to work better with people whose styles differ.

The 2-hour DISC Briefing is $350 per participant. The 4-hour DISC Team Workshop is $525 per participant. Both include each person’s DISC Leadership Communication Styles assessment and a PDF workbook. For in-person sessions in North America, add an on-site delivery fee of $950 plus travel and expenses.

Both. Most sessions run virtually on Zoom or Teams, with the same discussion and practice in breakout rooms. We can also come to your site.

Each session runs with 8 to 20 participants. Larger organizations can book several sessions.

Choose the 2-hour briefing to introduce DISC to a group. Choose the 4-hour workshop for an intact team that wants to map its styles, agree on how to communicate, and practice.

No. It works for any level, from front-line teams to executives. For a full leadership program built for managers, see the R-Factor Workshop.
