- Learn something new. Get inspired by doing something out of the ordinary. Try taking a class or attending a networking event. Spread the knowledge around by teaching your co-workers what you’ve learned.
- Leave work at work. Don’t get in the habit of bringing home piles of work. Remind yourself that your personal life is important and you aren’t defined by your job.
- Set goals. Making goals for the day, the week, or the year – and outlining how to achieve them – gives you a sense of purpose. You’ll accomplish more and improve your mood at the same time.
- Take care of yourself. You’ll find it easier to stay positive throughout the day if you aren’t tired or hungry. Get a full night of sleep and bring snacks to work. Start your day off right with a good playlist for your drive to work.
- Take a vacation. Recharge by taking some time off. You’ll feel more motivated when you go back to work.
